After a short hiatus, Sony's stellar karaoke series is back, offering more multiplayer karaoke fun, and an all new budget price. As part of Sony's 'broader audience' PlayLink range, SingStar Celebration lets you use a dedicated mobile app to turn any Android/iOS device into a makeshift microphone, letting up to eight people join in on the fun together, without the need for endless USB mics. With thirty songs on offer, its not the biggest song list we've ever seen in a karaoke game, but there's a nice variety to the tracks on offer nonetheless, mixing together some well-known oldies with more recent chart hits - so everyone should be able to find something they don't mind crooning along to.
The relatively modest 30 song-strong song list is as follows - and no, the two songs called 'Closer' aren't a typo:
- Adele - Hello
- ABBA - Dancing Queen
- Amy Winehouse - Rehab
- Avicii - Wake Me Up
- Blondie - One Way Or Another
- Brandi Carlile - The Story
- Britney Spears - Oops!… I Did It Again
- Calvin Harris & Disciples - How Deep Is Your Love
- Ella Henderson - Yours
- Elle King - Ex's and Oh's
- Fun. - Some Nights
- Hilary Duff - All About You
- Iggy Azalea ft. Charli XCX - Fancy
- Jason Derulo - Want To Want Me
- Kings Of Leon - Use Somebody
- Lost Frequencies - Are You With Me
- Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell - Ain't No Mountain High Enough
- Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass
- Oasis - Wonderwall
- OMI feat. Nicky Jam - Cheerleader
- One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful
- Roxette - It Must Have Been Love
- Shawn Mendes - Stitches
- Sia - Cheap Thrills
- Tegan And Sara - Closer
- The Chainsmokers ft. Halsey - Closer

- Wham! - I'm Your Man

Of course, you don't have to just stop at the 30 on-disc songs, as the Playstation Store has hundreds and hundreds of extra tracks you can download to expand your library (at extra cost), and keep you singing long into the night. Depending on compatibility, any songs you downloaded for past SingStar games on the Playstation 3 should be able to be carried over to your new game too, letting you revisit some old favourites too!
