The Wii seems to have become a bit of a haven for singing and dance titles alike - what with the likes of We Sing and Just Dance populating disc trays everywhere, and the latest in their respective series, Just Dance 4 and We Sing 80s set to take up a lot of our time at Everybody Plays HQ. But what if you could combine the two ideas into one mega game? Piggybacking on her 25th anniversary in showbusiness, Kylie Sing & Dance is one such game, which lets you sing and dance along to some of the pop princess' best known songs. Here's a promotional photo that we didn't at all cobble together in our image manipulation program at all.
The game looks set to take in Kylie's entire back catalogue of tracks, with a career mode letting you perform alongside the songstress herself, complete with her official music videos playing along in the background. As with most games of this ilk, there's also support for multiplayer, either two players singing together or as a four player dance-off, although whether you'll be able to duet with a lovestruck Jason Donovan remains to be seen. And while much of the game has yet to be revealed, we're hoping you'll only have to sing or dance, rather than try both at the same time, otherwise we'll be singing into our Wii Remotes and wanging our microphones around wondering why we're not getting any points...
Featuring a mix of her hits both old and new, only ten of the twenty-five on-disc songs have been announced so far, as follows:
- The Loco-Motion
- Tears On My Pillow
- Spinning Around
- I Should Be So Lucky
- Can't Get You Out Of My Head
- Better The Devil You Know
- Especially For You
- Get Outta My Way
- Time Bomb
- Flower
Kylie Sing & Dance waltzes onto the Wii on the 30th of November - the same day as Nintendo's next console, the Wii U, launches. Until then, make sure you keep checking back as we reveal the remaining fifteen Kylie tunes you'll be playing next month. And perhaps, if Kylie isn't really your cup of tea, or you can't quite wait that long for some singing and dancing action, you may want to look into the company's other game, Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals: Sing & Dance, which is out earlier in November.
