Although details are incredibly scarce on the ground at the moment, the internet is currently abuzz with the news that dancing game maestros Ubisoft are set to release a new, artist specific dancing game this Christmas. Following in the footsteps of Michael Jackson, the Black Eyed Peas, and even The Smurfs, Swedish pop sensations ABBA are the latest to get the dancing game treatment, with a Just Dance inspired rendition set to hit the Wii later this year.
Titled Abba: You Can Dance, although little has been officially confirmed, and there aren't even any screenshots doing the rounds, the clever money will be placed on this being a collection of the Swedish sensations' finest songs, such as "Super Trooper", "Money, Money, Money", and "Gimme Gimme Gimme". Like Just Dance, you'll need to follow the silhouettes to match the dance moves, and get scored on how well you pull the routines off. With full multiplayer support fully expected, and the cold nights drawing in, you can expect this to be a popular one at Christmas and New Year's Eve parties around the country, as people rush to try their hands at being the dancing Queen. Expect this to appear on many Moms' Christmas lists later this year - and with the game currently rumoured to come with a budget price, it shouldn't leave too much of a dent in your pocket, either.
