Rango is the perfect game for kids - especially if they're fans of the film. The easiest difficulty level is perfectly adjusted for youngr players, making the game do-able for even the most gaming-challenged of youngsters - I'm not very competent either, and I managed the whole game on the hardest setting, with very little problem. The concept of the game - the bad guy beating up platformer is something kids will be familiar with, and Rango's simple controls mean they'll pick it up rather quickly. There isn't an awful lot of reading either - just a few things about controls, as most of the game is voice acted.
Staying close to the film of the same name, there's nothing in the way of sex or bad language in Rango, and what little violence there is is incredibly mild, with enemies simply falling over and fading away when defeated, leaving behind a bunch of Sheriff Stars.
Rango has no multiplayer mode at all - it's entirely single player. It would have been nice to have at least a few mini-games, as they may have increased the longevity of this rather brief game - at least a bit.
