Influenced by the old arcade game, Pang: Magical Michael is pretty much the same game jazzed up for Nintendo's portable console. The premise is simple - just pop every single bubble on the screen without getting squashed by one before you can progress to the next level. But with every pop, a bubble fragments into a number of smaller, faster moving ones until it can't possibly get any smaller and disappears from existence altogether - this means you need to be a bit careful and go about things a bit more logically, because thousands of tiny bubbles are much harder to dodge than a couple of big ones.
The main Tour mode sees you rescuing countless tourist spots across the globe from the bubbley tyranny, and although it can't be played in multiplayer, the survival Panic mode can. Supporting single card download play, you'll be able to play on two DSs with only one copy of the game, working together to pop bubbles for as long as you possibly can. It's a great way to pass a spare few minutes - as that's about as long as we manage to survive!
About the only downside is that Pang: Magical Michael is hard. Not snapping your DS in half frustrating, but more 'just one more try' challenging - you'll likely fail, and you'll fail a lot, but on each and every retry, you'll find yourself getting closer and closer towards your objective. It's a rewarding premise.
Absolutely nothing of the sort. Pang Magical Michael is as clean as a whistle - it's simply a game about popping bubbles.
