MotionSports: Adrenaline is a collection of "extreme" themed minigames aimed at an older audience than Kinect Sports. With Wingsuiting, Kayaking, Mountain Biking, Kite Surfing, Rock Climbing and Extreme Skiing on offer, there's a great variety of games here, although they do all share similar themes - you have to either collect as many tokens as you can on your way to the finish, or reach the end as quickly as possible.
In terms of family appeal, Motionsports Adrenaline should pose little problem to children who are old enough to handle some of Kinect's intricacies - you do need to do things how it expects them to be done, rather than how you'd necessarily go to do it otherwise. Although it's a lot more forgiving than other games out there, it's still not the most intuitive game. The loading screens explain what you're meant to do with moving diagrams which mean reading skills shouldn't be all that necessary, although if your child can't yet read, they likely won't manage or enjoy this. Some games are more forgiving than others, mind you, and we'd imagine most will be able to handle Extreme Skiing and Mountain Biking, while even we can't make Wingsuiting and Rock Climbing work all the time.
Although it may be an extreme game, there's nothing for parents to be concerned about here - no violence, gore, bad language, or sex. The closest it comes to anything concerning is women who wear small bikini bottoms for the kite surfing event, but it's nothing too serious.
With a full four player mode, Motionsports Adrenaline lets you relay with your friends and family, with each doing a different section of the track or level - although the space requirements, which mean you have to keep the extra players out of view of the camera mean this isn't really practical in most living rooms.
