Learning with the Pooyoos is a loosely educational game that follows a similar sort of format to a children's TV show. Playing through the game, your children will follow the colourful PooYoo animals on a voyage of discovery, pressing buttons and shaking the Wii Remote to make things happen, before taking part in a series of simple mini-games. Thoroughly child friendly, and aimed squarely at a pre-school market, there's a lot to keep younger children entertained here.

As it's been designed specifically with younger children in mind, the bar to entry is incredibly low. With practically no writing past the menu screen, and simple, easy to understand controls, explained by helpful diagrams, PooYoos is a game that's flowing with a charm that younger children will love. Letting you choose whether your child's a big PooYoo or a little PooYoo, the game will adjust its "difficulty" to suit, offering simpler prompts, and simpler controls for the little ones, while serving a slightly tougher challenge to the bigger kids.
For example, if you're playing the hide and seek game as a big PooYoo, you may be asked to find "the creature that lives in the sea" - but little PooYoos will get given much less cryptic clues, instead having to find "the panda", or the animal with the white head instead. While big PooYoos may have to point the Wii Remote at the screen and press a button to wake the dozing characters up in another mini-game, little PooYoos just have to shake the controller when they see someone who's fallen asleep. It's all incredibly well done, and makes the game easily accessible for even the youngest of children.
Lasting around fifteen minutes, and with two paths to choose from (one themed around music, the other themed around plants) each trip into the land of PooYoos may be brief, but it's one younger children will want to do again and again. While there's probably not enough to keep a six year old occupied here, younger children will feel right at home with the PooYoos - and for only £3.50, it's hard to go wrong.
As a game aimed squarely at an audience of young children, there's nothing for parents to worry about in Learning with the Pooyoos.
