Parent's Guide

Simple in concept, and simple in terms of controls, Fruit Ninja Kinect is a game that children of all ages should be able to pick up and play with ease. As fruit gets fired up into the air, using the magic of Microsoft's Kinect sensor, all your child has to do is stand in front of the Xbox, and make a chopping motion to cut it in half. A Kinect game as it should be, Fruit Ninja Kinect is incredibly accessible for young children, as everything's so intuitive - if your child can make a chopping gesture with their hand, they'll have loads of fun with this - it really is that simple.

Mature Content

While it can be argued that Fruit Ninja Kinect is gory, there's not actually any blood - all that gets splattered over your screen, and the background, is simply fruit goo from your slicing and dicing. Other than that, there's nothing for parents to worry about here.

Family Multiplayer

Letting two people play together in either co-op or competitive multiplayer modes, Fruit Ninja Kinect has arguably been designed for multiplayer. The real appeal of the game, though, comes not in playing together, but in taking it in turns, and competing to be the top of the leaderboard. With both a weekly, and all time leaderboard available, the competition between members of a family is bound to be heated - and with the whole family able to take part, you can expect to keep coming back to this every week in a quest to be the best Fruit Ninja, er, Ninja around!
