This week, Microsoft are offering a third off some classic Xbox games - games from the current Xbox 360's predecessor - in neat downloadable form. As opposed to being bite sized arcade games, these are proper, full length games that used to retail in their day at £30 - so if you're looking for some bargains to tide you over the long Summer, these might just be what you're looking for.

Set in Chechnya in southern Russia, you play as the Black Ops soldier Jack Keller, who's in a bit of trouble, being interrogated about his search for the arms smuggling and terrorist operation known as the Seventh Wave, and it's leader, an ex-black operative known as Lennox. Through a series of flashbacks and explosive missions, you'll reveal the series of events that led up to his capture, the threat of a lifetime of imprisonment and the truth behind Lennox and the Seventh Wave.

Every ten generations, new dragon eggs are brought to the dragon realm - and every ten generations, a rare purple dragon is born who will direct the fate of an era. But the dragons are at war with the 'Dark Master', who lays siege to the temple where the eggs are kept - luckily, Ignitus, the dragon guarding the eggs manages to escape with the purple dragon egg, and sends it drifting down the river, hoping for the best. Discovered and hatched by a family of dragonflies, alongside Sparx, a dragonfly born on the same day, Spyro soon discovers he's a stranger from a distant land. So he sets off with Sparx to search for his true home - and to put an end to the war with the 'Dark Master' once and for all.
