A look at some Toy Story themed DS and Wii accessories

As Toy Story 3 prepares to blast into cinemas on the 23rd July, hot on the heels of the release of the video game tie-ins, Thrustmaster, a company specialising in games accessories, are coming out with a series of Toy Story related accessories for the DS and Wii.

First up comes the Spaceship Charger - a miniature replica of Buzz Lightyear's intergalactic cruiser. Designed for the Nintendo Wii, it's actually docking station for the Wii remotes - and one of the coolest ones we've seen. Charging your Wii Remotes to infinity and beyond - by placing them inside the spaceship, the docking station is easy and safe for kids to use, and plugs straight into the USB port of the Wii - all for an RRP of £19.99.

This isn't plugging in. This is charging - with style.

Also for the Nintendo Wii is the Toy Story 3 backpack, a handy device that's been specifically designed to take the strain out of carrying your Wii around (...must...resist...joke). The backpack comes complete with a fetching picture of Buzz himself, along with plenty of pockets and storage compartments for all the games, accessories, extra pairs of shoes and scary eyes that you could possibly want. Just in case.

You've got a friend in Wii.

For £24.99, the Toy Story 3 DS Pack is bursting at the seams with items for budding Space Rangers. Coming with a protective case, that makes a spaceship noise whenever the DS is put in or taken out, and a second, smaller, secret storage case that can be worn on your wrist, and holds four games, there's plenty for new recruits here. Rounding off an already impressive set, the package also includes a stylus (with a picture of Buzz on), a screen cleaning cloth and, most importantly, STICKERS!!!

With more features than Buzz's Utility Belt, this DS Pack isn't standard issue stuff.

For only £4.99, you can also buy a very special, rocket engine-shaped stylus - which, at the touch of a button, you can use to project Buzz Lightyear onto the wall

I've set my stylus from stun to kill. Oh, great. If anyone attacks we can blink em' to death.

And last, but not least, comes the Toy Story 3 Spaceship Station, which allows you to easily charge and store your Nintendo DS. Although this possibly seems the least useful of the lot, as you simply have to use your original DS charger, which plugs in through a handily-placed fuel door, it should still be the perfect way to re-energise your DS before your next space journey.

Hey, look, everybody! It's the *real* Buzz Lightyear!
