Whether you like them or loathe them, there's no denying that The Black Eyed Peas are at least approaching iconic status. With a line-up of hits that you can't have failed to have heard if you've turned on a television, or been to a party in the past few years, it was perhaps only a matter of time before the peas encroached on the gaming space - and today it's been made official.
Developed by Ubisoft, who brought us seminal dancing classics Just Dance and Michael Jackson: The Experience comes the inventively named The Black Eyes Peas Experience, a game which looks, from the initial trailer, to be in the same vein. Armed with your body on Kinect, or your Wii Remote on the Wii, you'll have to strut your stuff to a variety of the Black Eyed Peas' greatest hits - although, from the initial trailer, there are a few changes we've picked up on. First is the lack of Your Shape/Michael Jackson: The Experience on Kinect's "Player Projection" technology, which, through some technological wizardry, managed to trim the video feed of you free from the background, giving the illusion that you were up on stage, dancing. While it does mean that the game won't look quite as funky as MJ did, it does mean you won't have to watch yourself dancing - and should hopefully mean the game takes up less room. The Wii version, on the other hand, should have no such problems.
There's been very little in the way of official details announced yet, with the below debut trailer being the only official confirmation we have that it's coming. Not a single press release nor screenshot has been issued so far, so unfortunately, there's still no confirmation of whether Kinect will be able to track you wetting yourself on stage - although we certainly hope so. You can find out as much as we know by watching the trailer below. Gotta get that Black Eyes Peas game? We certainly think so.
