LucasArts have today confirmed that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II will be hitting a console near you on October 26th 2010.

We guess he's got two lightsabers because it's a sequel.

Following on where Star Wars: The Force Unleashed left off, the game lets you play as every ten year old (and probably many other people too)'s fantasy - a Jedi Knight. Armed with phenomenal cosmic powers - and the ability to blow huge holes in walls, or pull spaceships out of the sky, you play as the mysterious "Starkiller", an apprentice to Darth Vader, during the gap between movies III and IV.

While there's still little known about the game, LucasArts have taken feedback on board from the first title, and are apparently hard at work trying to straighten out the game's difficulty level, and are also in the process of adding a multiplayer mode. Not that the game really needs one, to be honest.

So Star Wars fans (and people who like great action games), mark down October 26th 2010 on your calendar, and look out for more news on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II on Everybody Plays in the future!
