Obviously the previous eShop anniversary sale did pretty well, as Nintendo are now back for a second round of discounts on their downloadable store - this time cutting the price on six different titles a week for six consecutive weeks. Oddly though, bar this week's discounted title, the immense Pullblox, we don't actually have a sale price for any of the other games. Seeing as Pullblox has 20% off, though, and the others cost the same price, we'd be surprised if their final sale price didn't fall in line..

Pullblox
Was £5.40
Now: £4.49
One of the best selling downloadable games, Pullblox has you playing as the plump protagonist Mallo as he makes his way through a whole series of block-shifting puzzles. Faced with a flat level made up of different blocks, he needs to push/pull out different sections to make himself a staircase to the top and save a stranded child - it may sound simple, but some of the later levels get fiendishly hard.

Colours 3D
Was: £5.40
Now (we'd imagine): £4.49
Make sure you spell this one the (wrong!) American way when searching for it on the eShop! A cool little painting application with a whole range of different artists tools, the ability to draw in five layers to create 3D pictures, and even rope in some friends to draw co-operatively, Colors (eurgh) 3D has plenty for the more artistic among you. You can also save your masterpieces to the SD card to view later or upload them to the game's online gallery to see how they compare to other users' creations.

SpeedThru: Potzol's Puzzle
Was: £5.40
Now (we'd hope): £4.49
Remember those childrens' toys where you have to fit the right peg in the correct shaped hole? SpeedThru: Potzol's Puzzle takes that concept and cranks it up several notches. With your Tetris-like piece travelling through a corridor at breakneck speed, you need to rotate it in mid-air to fit through the hole in each of the 'gates' along the hall. But with moving hazards between the wall and you, and an ever increasing pace, it's not as easy as it sounds!
--------
The observant among you will notice that there's only three games above - half of what we were promised. Seemingly Nintendo don't work too far in advance, as the next three discounted titles have yet to be revealed - hopefully, we'll have more news soon. Each of the discounted titles is available for a week only, from one Thursday to the next, so it's best to not hang around if anything takes your eye!
With any luck, this latest sale should be a sign that the perpetually-behind-with-the-online-times Nintendo is embracing regular special offers as a way to boost sales figures, and we'll see more sales in future. In the meantime, though, make sure you keep checking back, as we should have the games for the other half of the sale up soon.
