It's just over a week, it'll be March - the beginning of spring, Easter eggs and of course, a huge influx of new games. Much like it's cousin October, March is a busy time of year for the games industry, with games such as Luigi's Mansion 2, Monster Hunter 3 and our most anticipated title of the month (or even year), the open-world Lego-'em-up, Lego City Undercover - a brick-tackular romp around an entire city as undercover cop Chase McCain, hot on the tails of a gang of troublemaking clowns.
With just six weeks to go until Lego-geddon, it seems developers Traveller's Tales have some tricks up their sleeve to drum up more interest - six tricks to be exact. Between now and the end of March there'll be a weekly 'webisode' hitting YouTube, introducing you to some of the game's key characters - and first up is parkour expert, disguise extraordinaire and star of the show, Chase McCain:
As you can see, Chase is more athletic than your average mini-figure, running across walls, swinging round poles and sliding under narrow gaps with ease. Sadly, aside from a rather angry police commissioner, a high speed car chase and an airborne doughnut, we don't actually see much in the way of new stuff - perhaps there'll be more reveals in the coming episodes. After all, we already knew a fair bit about Mr. McCain before we began - although villain Rex Fury still remains a bit of a mystery.
Lego City Undercover lands exclusively on the Wii U on the 28th of March - with a prequel hitting the 3DS sometime after. Add in the upcoming Lego Marvel Super Heroes, and we'll be falling over Lego games before the year is out. Just try not to step on any.
