Raving Rabbids games have been going from strength to strength on the Wii, with their irreverent selection of party games proving a hit. A crazy collection of multiplayer minigames, we gave their last outing an impressive 8/10 - you can find out why in our full Raving Rabbids Travel In Time review. But having apparently done everything they could think of doing with the Wii, using almost every peripheral going, some five games later, Ubisoft have decided it's time for the Rabbids to move onto some new turf - namely, the Xbox 360 and Kinect.
Shown for the first time at last week's games trade show, E3, Raving Rabbids Alive and Kicking takes a slightly different direction for the series. Rather than taking control of a Raving Rabbid, you'll instead be facing off against them, as you defend your living room for the dastardly Lapins. Two minigames were shown on stage - one, where the Rabbids popped out of holes in the floor of your living room, whack-a-mole style, and you had to stamp them back to where they came from, and another, more innovative game, that saw you, and three friends attempting to create a silhouette that fills an outline of a shape in order to scare the Rabbids off - whether it's a monster, a UFO, or a vampire.
It's certainly an interesting idea - and more Rabbids craziness is never a bad thing. Raving Rabbids Alive and Kicking is out this November - so if you've got a 360 and Kinect, this is one you'll want to keep an eye on. In the mean time, check out the trailer below.
