New Pokemon Games Announced

Pokemon Black and White set to hit Japan this year!

New Pokemon Games Announced
9th April, 2010 By Ian Morris

We may well have only just got HeartGold and SoulSilver here in the UK, but Nintendo and Game Freak are already hard at work on the latest title in their popular monster collecting series.

The only details that have been revealed so far are the names of the new games, Pokemon Black and Pokemon White, and two new Pokemon: Zoroa and Zoroark, the "Evil Fox" Pokemon.

That's Zoroa on the left, and Zoroark on the right. Zoroa looks kind of like an alternative dark Eevee, doesn't he?

In other slightly related trivia, Zoroark is also scheduled to play a "main role" in the upcoming 13th Pokemon film - entitled Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark.

The games are penciled in for a Japanese launch later this year, so expect it to hit our shores around spring of 2011.

Until then, we'll just have to amuse ourselves with HeartGold and SoulSilver. If you haven't got it yet, we think you should, check out our review!
