It's obviously that time of year again. There are few bigger "events" in the world of games than a Grand Theft Auto launch, with both specialist websites, and the mainstream press whipping themselves up into a veritable frenzy over the latest in the gritty series. But while every other editor around the world frantically commissions writers to write 10,000 word analyses of every last detail of the pictures, or takes the pictures to pieces themselves - inverting the colours, playing them as a .wav, or opening them in a text editor to examine the code itself in the hope of finding some sort of a clue, we'll just give you the pictures to look at for yourself. They're certainly rather pretty.
So there you have it. Grand Theft Auto V will feature cars, bikes, helicopters, a man running down the side of a lorry, and, er, tennis courts, along with some people, and a pier. The game will release at some time, on some consoles. The smart money will be on it again having some sort of story involving a guy dragged into a criminal underworld, and pretty free-form gameplay, letting you drive around an expansive city doing pretty much anything you want, whether you're completing missions to find out what happens next, trying to flip your car by driving over ramps, or simply wasting hours bowling.from completing missions, to wasting hours bowling. One thing we will add though, is that by going by the numberplate of the car above, it looks as though an October release date may potentially be on the cards. Judging by how the release schedule's worked out (Resident Evil 6 has moved forwards, Tomb Raider, Far Cry 3 and Assassin's Creed 3 have all moved back, seemingly leaving October clear), it's certainly a possibility.
