Following on from the most recent 3DS system update, which added, amongst others, a brand spanking new web browser, and the wonderful Nintendo eShop, which, over the next few weeks, is set to flourish into your one stop shop for downloadable 3DS gaming goodies, and is already where you'll need to head to download both Excitebike, and the Pokedex 3D free of charge, Nintendo have released another update today, to fix a few glitches in the last one.
According to Nintendo, the update will add further stability and user interface improvements to the system, including fixing a nasty glitch which saw Ridge Racer 3D freeze on occasion. Along with the other updates, this latest download also adds the ability for your system to automatically download system updates while it's in sleep mode, before prompting you when it comes to install.
To download the latest system update, if you haven't done it already, you'll first have to set up your 3DS's internet, to let it speak to your wireless router. Of course, if you managed to download the last update, you've likely already done this, so you don't need to worry. Then, all you need to do is scroll across to System Settings, open it, then click on Other Settings, and touch the right arrow on the touch screen three times until you come to System Update. Press that, accept the next screen it gives you, and sit back and wait while your 3DS does all the hard work. Et voila! Your system's now up to date!
