We're huge fans of inexpensive quality games here at Everybody Plays, so today, when Microsoft announced they'd be holding a surprise flash sale on a number of the Games on Demand titles - Microsoft's fancy term for downloadable versions of retail games - we let out a collective cheer. Here's the current list of titles that are currently discounted on the dashboard:

A large number of the games there are titles that should be in everyone's collection (first person shooter par excellence Perfect Dark Zero, fantasy adventure Kameo, and multi-player party game Viva Piñata Party Animals to name but three), and with a whopping 75% off in most cases, there's almost literally no excuse not to pick them up (or download them, so to speak), especially if you've been on the fence for a while. So get to it!
Unfortunately, this being a sale through the Xbox 360's un-user-friendly dashboard, there are a few things you need to look out for if you want to get the best deal. Although you can buy the games using either Microsoft Points that you've added to your console, or in normal currency if you've added a credit or debit card, a number of the games currently show up as the same price in pounds, yet cost different values in Microsoft Points. To switch between paying in Microsoft Points or pounds (or the currency of your choice), press the X button on the "confirm purchase" screen. Just remember that in order to buy a game or add-on in pounds, you need a credit or debit card (or a PayPal account) linked to your Gamertag, and to buy something with Microsoft Points you need to have enough Microsoft Points already added to your account.
