Here at Everybody Plays we seem to be in a perpetual state of finishing off Lego games - finding all the collectables, buying all the characters and solving the remaining puzzles. All because those pesky people from Warner Brothers keep releasing a new one before they've given us chance to properly finish the last ones. I mean, we're nearly at the end of Lego Pirates of the Caribbean now, but we still have Lego Star Wars 3 to go - and now they're piling Lego Harry Potter: Years 5 - 7 on top too. I mean, we only finished the original Lego Harry Potter a few months ago - but hey, when the games are this good, we're not complaining.
Lego Harry Potter: Years 5 - 7 covers the events of the last three books (or four films) - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, following Harry's last years at Hogwarts and the final battle with Lord Vodemort - giving them a thorough Lego makeover in the process. Packed full of their signature slap-stick humour (bottoms catching fire, people falling over and the like), as well as simple puzzles to solve and more stuff to find than you know what to do with, it'll keep you entertained for a long time. And you can even bring a friend along to help you out, as Lego Harry Potter: Years 5 - 7 does two-player co-op, letting you fight He Who Shall Not Be Named in your final battles together.
Warner Brothers have also announced that a demo of Lego Harry Potter: Years 5 - 7 for the Playstation 3 will ship in the Blu-Ray/DVD Combi Pack of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 film - for the rest of you though, we'll have a preview up soon of what we saw at Gamescom in Cologne, so stay tuned. Lego Harry Potter: Years 5 - 7 will launch on pretty much every platform under the sun (Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, DS, 3DS, PSP and PC) on the 18th November - make sure you pick it up then!
