With just a month to go until the release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D on Nintendo's new 3DS system, if you haven't put a pre-order down yet, or you've been umming and ahhhing over whether you're willing to plump up £40 for what's arguably the biggest game in the 3DS' spring/summer line-up, Nintendo have announced they're teaming up with Game and Gamestation to offer some goodies that just might change your mind.
While it pales in comparison to what the Greeks get (an ocarina, keyring, cap, 3DS case and a Deku tree in a pot), if you put down a pre-order at either store you'll receive a fancy gold title sleeve round your box and a double-sided A2-size poster - one side shows Link riding off into the distance of the Hyrule countryside, and the other shows Link mid-battle.
The game follows young hero Link on a journey of epic proportions, as he attempts to save the land of Hyrule from Ganondorf - the Gerudo King of Thieves - who is intent on ruling and conquering the land with the power of the mythical Triforce, a mysterious, er, thing, which is capable of granting the wishes of it's holder. Originally released on the N64 way back in 1998, the 3DS version makes use of the Touch Screen, Circle Pad and gyro sensors of the new console - and of course, the 3D effect - to make a game that veterans and newcomers alike will appreciate.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is due out in shops on the 17th June - so don't forget to put your pre-orders down in Game or Gamestation if a fancy box and poster interest you. Or, you can do what we're doing, and try to figure out how to pre-order the game from Greece and still get the pre-order goodies without the expensive plane flight. In the mean time, we'll be going hands-on with the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D tomorrow at an exclusive event in central London. We'll be reporting back at the end of the week - so if you want to be amongst the first to know how the game's shaping up, why not like us on Facebook, and get the news as it happens!
