Just Dance: Disney Party Song List Announced

Dance along to 25 songs from both their classic films and TV shows

Just Dance Disney Party Song List Announced
19th June, 2012 By Sarah Morris

There's been an explosion in dancing games over the past few years, with games like Just Dance leading the way - and the trend looks set to continue for some time to come. Even over the past few weeks, we've seen the announcement of Just Dance 4, and a new Dance Central game, with the family friendly (and rather cool sounding) Just Dance: Disney Party completing the trifecta. Aimed at a younger audience who may struggle a bit with the more complex choreographies on the main Just Dance games, Just Dance: Disney Party brings simpler dance moves along with a more kid-friendly soundtrack, offering some 25 songs, with a roughly 50:50 split between tracks from classic Disney films like Beauty and the Beast and Lilo and Stitch, through to some, er, slightly less classic tunes from more recent Disney Channel shows, like Phineas and Ferb and High School Musical.

Classic Film Tracks:

  • The AristoCats - Ev'rybody Wants To Be A Cat
  • Beauty and the Beast - Be Our Guest
  • Bolt - I Thought I Lost You
  • Cinderella - Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo
  • Enchanted - That's How You Know
  • The Jungle Book - The Bare Necessities
  • Lilo & Stitch - Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride
  • The Little Mermaid - Under The Sea
  • Mary Poppins - Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
  • Peter Pan - Following The Leader
  • Tangled - Something That I Want
  • Tangled - I've Got A Dream
  • The Muppets - The Muppet Show Theme
  • Tinker Bell - Fly To Your Heart

Disney Channel Selection:

  • A.N.T. Farm - Calling All The Monsters
  • Camp Rock - This Is Me
  • Good Luck Charlie - Hang In There Baby
  • Hannah Montana - Hoedown Throwdown
  • High School Musical - We're All In This Together
  • Jessie - Jessie Theme Song
  • Phineas and Ferb - S.I.M.P. (Squirrels In My Pants)
  • Shake It Up - Shake It Up
  • Shake It Up - Twist My Hips
  • Wizards of Waverly Place - Everything Is Not As It Seems

You broke my smoulder...

Set to release on both the Wii, and the Xbox 360 using Kinect, the two versions of the game will be slightly different, with each featuring its own exclusive mode or two -  while the Xbox 360 version will let you star in your own Disney-themed music videos, recording your movements using the Kinect sensor, the Wii version gets a whole host of special multiplayer modes, such as the same Freeze & Shake simon-says-like mode from Just Dance Kids and The Smurfs Dance Party. Unlike many Kinect games, we're also impressed to see that both games will let you play with up to three friends at once - although you'll certainly need a lot less space to get the whole family playing on the Wii.

The eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed that we've only listed 24 of the game's 25 strong song list above - but you'll be pleased to know there was actually a very good reason for that. We were saving the best 'til last. In order to bring the track list up to a more rounded 25, the final song in Just Dance: Disney Party is.... *drum roll* - It's a Small World!

It may be a bit embarrassing, but we genuinely can't wait. We're sure you all agree.

Just Dance: Disney Party will be available this autumn for the Wii, and Kinect on the Xbox 360 - currently there's no concrete release date or price, although we'd imagine it'll be a budget price of £20 or £25 ish, considering the RRP for the American version is $29.99.
