There always seem to be two types of young boys - the few that are strangely well behaved, polite and willingly make a cup of tea when relatives come to visit, without being asked. Then there are the ones who come in covered in mud, can burp on command and will play football for hours on end. Made of slugs and snails and puppy dogs tails, little boys can sometimes be a bit of a (dirty) handful. And sometimes, can turn into your own Horrid Henry.
The Horrid Henry series, written by Francesca Simon, follows the adventures of Henry, a normal, naughty boy and his goody-two-shoes brother Peter - and isn't too dissimilar to Dennis the Menace. Originally a series of books, it's been turned into a TV series, had it's own film and DS game - and now it's appearing on Nintendo's latest console, the 3DS.
Turning into a platform adventure in the style of Mario, Horrid Henry: The Good, The Bad and the Bugly not only has an incredibly bad pun in the title, but also features three different worlds to explore, as Horrid Henry sets out on his quest to retrieve Bunny - his brother Peter Perfect's toy rabbit by solving puzzles and defeating bosses with his goo gun.
Looking to ride on the back of the success of the recent film, details about Horrid Henry: The Good, The Bad & The Bugly are pretty thin on the ground at the moment - with the only thing we know for sure being that it's due out this November on the 3DS. Stay tuned for more information, and a solid release date in the coming weeks.
