We've always been big fans of dancing games, the amount of time and money we've spent on Dancing Stage in the arcades could have probably been spent on so many real dancing lessons we'd be able to give Diversity a run for their money.
But there's always been something off about just moving your feet onto four marked pads. While it's a good workout, especially on the harder songs, it never really feels like dancing.
But with the unveiling of Microsofts Kinect camera at E3 yesterday also came the announcement of Dance Central, a dancing game from Harmonix.
Using the Kinect camera, the game can pick up your gestures without the use of clunky dance mats, allowing you to dance flawlessly along with the music.
If you're not the greatest dancer, Dance Central features a "break it down" mode, allowing you to go through each move on it's own, helping you learn the moves at your own pace before taking on a full song.
Like other Harmonix music games, Dance Central will be supported long after it's release with weekly DLC tracks, allowing you to keep your music catalogue up to date.
Featuring over 30 songs, including tracks from Lady Gaga, Bil Bev Devoe and M.I.A, along with professionally choreographed dances (including official dances from the music videos of certain songs), Dance Central promises to teach even the most left footed of people to dance like a superstar.
