If you have a child that's a big Skylanders fan, there's a series of events happening this weekend that you might want to know about. In partnership with Activision, Smyths Toys are going to be hosting a number of special Skylanders themed Halloween parties tomorrow, Saturday 29th October - and there's freebies to be had for everyone who turns up (while stocks last!)
With a whole host of complimentary activities taking place during the day to keep your little ones busy, from face painting to fancy dress workshops, each event will be themed around the Skylands' number one villain and diminutive bad guy, the evil Kaos (pictured above). Everyone who turns up on the day will not only be able to get hands-on with the latest and greatest Skylanders game, Skylanders Imaginators, but they'll also walk away with a free pack of cards for the iOS/Android card battling game, Skylanders Battlecast too! There'll be prizes up for grabs to boot!
Perhaps the most exciting part of the news, though, is that the first 20 children to visit the Skylanders area in each participating store will walk away with a free Kaos figure - an exclusive, and rare character that's previously only been available as a pre-order bonus. Fully compatible with Skylanders Imaginators, plonking the Kaos toy on the base will let you play as the Skylands' number one villain, in his new Sensei form. While other Senseis are only a master of one particular battle class, Kaos, of course, is a master of all.
