The dancing game craze (or, the Just Dance craze, at the very least) doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon, with the release of this year's instalment, the recently announced Just Dance 2015 rapidly bearing down upon us. Due to be released on the 24th October, and bringing with it a number of new features and songs, whilst we've not heard a lot about the game since E3, we have been able to have a sneak peak at the first few songs.
Of the game's promised 40+ strong song list, only 12 have been announced so far, ranging from recent hits, to all time classics, and stretching the usual variety of genres. The first tracks are as follows:
- 5 Seconds of Summer - "She Looks So Perfect"
- Avana Grande feat. Iggy Azalea - "Problem"
- Bonnie Tyler - "Holding Out For A Hero"
- Calvin Harris - "Summer"
- Dancing Bros. - "Tetris"
- Ellie Goulding - "Burn"
- Icona Pop feat. Charli XCX - "I Love It"
- John Newman - "Love Me Again"
- Love Letter - "Only You (and You Alone)"
- Pharrell Williams - "Happy"
- Run DMC & Aerosmith - "Walk This Way"
- Ylvis - "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)"
Bringing a new meaning to the phrase "something for everyone", Just Dance 2015 already offers an eclectic mix of songs, from meme-tastic internet favourites like What Does the Fox Say, to karaoke classics like Bonnie Tyler's powerful I Need a Hero, and her presumably not related namesake, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler's Walk This Way. With such a varied group of songs so far, and still around 30 songs to go, Just Dance 2015 is shaping up to have one of the most varied song lists in the series history.
Along with a whole host of new songs to dance along to, Just Dance 2015 will also be bringing with it a host of new features - perhaps the most interesting of which is the Community Remix feature. Letting players record footage of themselves dancing to any of the included range of songs, the Community Remix feature then lets you post your routines to an in game leaderboard, where they can be be voted on by the community, with whoever has the most votes having their dance turned into an in game routine!
Set for release on pretty much every format under the sun later this year (PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii and Wii U), Just Dance 2015 will hit the shelves on the 24th October. What songs are you hoping for?
