Disney's Guilty Party - the family oriented, co-operative detective game, has had its release date announced as the 27th of July.

It's Phoenix Wright's Detective Gumshoe - in 3D.

Putting families together in an attempt to discover the clues, piece together the puzzles, and eventually solve the crimes of the notorious Mr. Valentine, Guilty Party is a game we've been keeping an eye on due to its emphasis on family gaming. Letting adults and children play together as a family, and solve the crimes together, you'll have to use the Wii Remote as a lock pick, torch, fingerprint kit, and other detective staples, as you scour every nook and cranny to find out "whodunnit".

The inital impressions of this game have been overwhelmingly positive - which just makes us all the more excited that Guilty Party can deliver something fresh, as well as being family friendly. Roll on July.
