Whilst the vast majority of the Disney Channel's recent output has been, let's face it, pretty poor (Suite life of Zack and Cody, anyone?), I've always had a bit of a soft spot for madcap inventing duo Phineas and Ferb. Now, with the announcement of Phineas and Ferb: Ride Again, I'll be able to enjoy Phineas and Ferb while out and about... which can only be a good thing.
Phineas and Ferb: Ride Again has you helping the pair to build rides and solve puzzles through a crazy adventure, which, unsurprisingly, will also feature 12 obligatory mini games. Sticking true to the TV show's humour, Phineas and Ferb: Ride Again also includes levels starring Phineas and Ferb's pet trilby-wearing platypus, Secret Agent P as he battles against the evil Dr. D.
Also announced by Disney Interactive Studios is Camp Rock: The Final Jam, inspired by the Disney Channel original movie Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. Players can create their own "camp rocker" (We'd like to try and make Graham Norton, you can't get much camper than him), and then take part in a series of events from the film, leading to the final competition against Camp Rock rivals, Camp Star, including water balloon fights, canoe racing, and the obligatory dances.
Featuring a number of songs from Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2, Camp Rock: The Final Jam is sure to be a big hit when it arrives to coincide with the movie's release this year, with Phineas and Ferb: Ride Again also expected to be out around the same time.
