Collectors edition Tron Evolution controllers unveiled
29th July, 2010 By Sarah Morris

Greetings, programs! As Tron: Evolution lightcycles towards our games consoles next January, Disney have teamed up with peripherals manufacturer PDP (Performance Designed Products) to bring us two cyberworld-licensed collector's edition controllers - one for the Nintendo Wii and one for the Xbox 360.

Train him for the games... Let him hope for a while... And blow him away...

Featuring perforations and light up detail reminiscent of the Tron universe, this limited edition Wii remote is sure to give a futuristic feel to your gaming sessions.

It also features 'performance-enhancing contours and design', as well as rubber grips - after all, as Kevin Flynn once said - it's all in the wrists. Obviously he owned a Nintendo Wii.

Unfortunately, the controller is only available for pre-order in America at the moment, for $49.99, but if you're a fan of all things Tron-y, like things with lights on, or both, be sure to check it out this October.

On the other side of the screen, it all looks so easy.

The Xbox 360 controller is no different - this wired, light up controller will let you dominate the cyberworld like no other. As with the Wii remote, this one also features the perforations and glowing details that give it a distinctly futuristic, Tron-esque appearance.

I hate to disappoint you pal, but most of the time that's the way it is for users too, as this controller too is only available for pre-order in America at the moment, for $49.99.

So now it's time for some serious User power, as you become the ultimate disc warrior - and don't forget to tell the opposition to 'go home. Game Over.'
