Fans of Batman have something new to look forward to as it was recently announced that a special collector's edition of the upcoming Batman: Arkham City game will be made available. The collection will give fans a ton of nifty little extra bits and bobs if they are willing to spend just a little bit more money.
Arkham City is the sequel to the mega successful Batman: Arkham Asylum, which saw its interesting blend of stealth and action based gameplay almost universally lauded by gamers everywhere. Many would even call it the greatest comic book game of all time and it would be hard to argue with them.
Arkham City looks to take the stealth-based formula that made Arkham Asylum so popular and transfer it into a full-on city environment. The game will also allow players to control a host of other Batman luminaries, including Robin and Catwoman.
The collector's edition will feature a host of goodies, including;
- A special Batman statue created by Kotobukiya.
- A collectible art booklet.
- Exclusive in-game content, such as early access to the Iceberg Lounge Challenge Map
- A special character skin
- The game's official album
There are no details on the price of this little bundle of goodies yet, but it's sure to have Batman fans salivating.
