Had you going there, didn't we? Ever since it's reveal at the Electronic Entertainment Expo a few months back, the 3DS has sparked quite a bit of interest and speculation - not least because it manages to do 3D images without the need for the fetching glasses. There was also the case of the disturbingly good 3DS graphics screenshots (Resident Evil: Revelations being one of many), which left many people wondering quite how powerful the 3DS could be.
Rumours suggested that the 3DS would lauch this December - with Nintendo boss Reggie Flls-Aime saying it was due out before the end of this financial year, as well as CVG reporting a top UK retailer had confirmed a release in December. Despite these, and many other rumours flying round the internet, there's been little in the way of concrete information regarding an official release date or cost - something which Nintendo have now promised we will know soon, going so far as to give us an exact date for the unveil, on September 29th - a fortnight after the Tokyo Games Show. With plenty of speculation still surrounding the hardware, its launch, and, most importantly, its games, it seems some concrete answers to some pressing questions may not be too far away.
